Nneka (Nigeria)

Nneka Egbuna is a Nigerian hip-hop/soul/reggae singer, songwriter and actress. She sings in Igbo, English and Nigerian Pidgin. In 2010, Drake sampled her ‘Hearbeat’ record on his track ‘I’m ready for you’. She sings the hook.

Black Coffee (South Africa)

Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo better known by his stage name Black Coffee, is a South African record producer and DJ. He began his career around 1995 and has released five albums as well as a live DVD under his Johannesburg-based record label, Soulistic Music. In 2017, Drake remade his song ‘Superman’, which features Bucie, into a new record titled ‘Get it together’, featuring Jorja Smith. It was contained on the “More Life” album (playlist).

Wizkid (Nigeria)

Afro Pop artist, Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun worked with Drake on three records. Drake composed a verse for the remix of his ‘Ojuelegba’ record, while also collaborating with him on the phenomenal record ‘One Dance’. Wizkid would later have Drake on ‘Come closer’, a single off his 2017 album “Sounds From The Other Side.”

Burna Boy (Nigeria)

Drake and Burna Boy met in London to discuss work on the “More Life” project. According to Burna Boy, he recorded 5 songs for the album, but none of them got to be featured. But his vocals on a song titled ‘More Life’ was chopped, and features of ‘Get it together’.

Tekno (Nigeria)

In December 2017, Drake shared a video of singer Tekno producing a record for him. They would later hang out and share photos together, with multiple reports stating that they have a new project on the way. At the moment, it is yet to be released.
