Simi, Adekunle Gold, Praiz entertain fans with unplugged music [Photos]

The show, which is in its debut edition, came through as a contender for a prime spot in the culture of live music concerts in Lagos.

Three of Nigeria’s finest singers cum live music performers, Simi, Adekunle Gold and Praiz, have headlined the live music concert tagged ‘100% Live’.

100% Live was held at the Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island, Lagos and it featured blend of alternative and mainstream music in a carnival-like atmosphere that exuded raw and passionate energy, powered by the music.

Fully supported by their individual live bands, Simi, Praiz and Adekunle Gold brought their A-game to the stage as they reeled out 100% live performances of all their hit songs to the listening pleasure of guests.

The show kicked off with performances from D-Truce and Sammy, setting the mood for what's to come.

Praiz was the first of the headline names to hit the stage. The singer who recently dropped an EP titled “2 Mins,” thrilled the crowd with a rendition of his hit songs, including ‘Sisi’, ‘Rich and famous’, and more.

Simi was next up. Supported by her Banjos band, she began with a performance of ‘Complete me’, before running through ‘Smile for me’, ‘Owambe’, ‘Aimasiko’, and ‘Joromi’.

Adekunle Gold rounded off the show. Literally clad in a golden outfit, and backed by his band - The 79th Element - he took fans through his debut album, with songs such as ‘Ariwo ko’, ‘Sade’, and more.

For its maiden edition, ‘100 %’ pulled off quite the crowd and the venue. And we can’t wait for next year. Check out more photos from the event below.
