Making a film that doesn't educate is just one of Omoni Oboli's 'worst nightmares' as a filmmaker in Nigeria.

In an interesting interview with Pulse Nigeria, Omoni Oboli shared her greatest fear as a filmmaker.

According to the filmmaker and actress, she can't imagine making a film and not recoup her investment.

"Not making my money back," Oboli said.  "I cannot even imagine making a film and not making my money back. What am I going to do?

"How am I going to pay my children's school fees," she jokingly adds.

However, not making the profit isn't her greatest fear. It's making a movie that doesn't educate, uplift or make anybody happy.

"I want to make people happy. For me, it's not necessarily about making films, it's about touching lives. It's about making the next person happier than they were before they saw your film.

"I also like to educate. So, I would be really scared to make a film that doesn't achieve any of these - it doesn't make anyone happy, it doesn't educate anybody, it doesn't uplift anybody - that would be my worst nightmare."

Two of Oboli's movies have a spot on the top 10 highest grossing movies list. They are "Okafor's Law" with 90 million naira and "Wives on Strike" with 71 million naira.
