Here's which month GOT will return in 2019

Maisie Williams has revealed which month "Game of Thrones" season 8 returns in 2019.

While the network confirmed that fans would have to wait a little longer than usual for the final six episodes of the hit series, they didn't mention when in 2019.

However, in a recent interview with Metro, Maisie Williams (Arya Stark) revealed that the final season of the show will premiere in April.

She said: "We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019]. That’s a four-month turnaround for these huge episodes."

"There’s a lot that goes into the final edit. You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities," she added.

"Game of Thrones" eighth season has already begun filming, and there have been spoilers.

Former "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa visited the set and told Entertainment Weekly that the upcoming season will be the greatest thing that has ever aired on TV.

In 2017, a fan spotted quite a number of castin Belfast, including Kristofer Hivju who plays Tormund GiantBane, whom most fans had a solid reason to believe died in season seven.

Also, Ellie Kendrick, who plays Meera Reed on the show, confirmed that she probably won’t be back for the final season.

As at time of publish, "Game of Thrones" fans still have 15 months until season 8 returns on TV.

Update: Williams has shot down reports that she granted an interview on the release date of "Game of Thrones." According to her, the interview was done years ago.
