Conleth Hill almost played a different character on show

In an interview with Huffington Post, The actor who is popularly known as Master of Whisperers confirmed that he almost played a different role on the show.
He confirmed that he was almost cast to play King Robert Baratheon on “Game of Thrones.”
"It is true, to be honest, but I have to say that I came out of the meeting, which went all right, and looked who was in after me, saw who it was, and went, “Well, he’d be all right for it,” and he was, and he got it. You know, that’s showbiz," he says.
The character King Robert Baratheon was portrayed on “Game of Thrones” by actor Mark Addy.
Hill also told The Huffington Post that he was asked to shave himself bald after he'd accepted the role of Varys.

"Game of Thrones" will return for the seventh episode which is also its penultimate in 2017.
The seventh season which is scheduled to premiere later in 2017 will have seven episodes, while the eighth and final season will have six episodes.
