Rapper claims he felt "overshadowed" by ex, Kylie Jenner

Tyga opened up about his two-year off and on relationship with the 18-year-old model during an interview with BigBoy TV on Friday, June 17, 2016, disclosing that he felt like their love life had “overshadowed” his career.

Tyga opened up about his two-year off and on relationship with the 18-year-old model during an interview with BigBoy TV on Friday, June 17, 2016, disclosing that he felt like their love life had “overshadowed” his career.

“When you’re in a very public relationship like that, it’s hard for other people to see you differently than that.

“Being in that, it took a lot, career-wise, everything. It overshadowed a lot of my talents and a lot of things that I worked hard for.”

The 26-year-old rapper and the cosmetic guru split up in May and have since moved on, more specifically Kylie, with another rapper, PartyNextDoor.

Tyga claims that there is no bad blood between them even though there has been speculations to that effect especially following the cheating allegations that trailed him during the course of the relationship.

Explaining why they had made the decision to call it quits, Tyga said:

“It got to the point where it was like, ‘I respect you, you respect me.'

“When something is so damaged or something is just not right, you can’t fix it in a moment. The only thing is time.”

Despite reports linking him to different models especially Demi Rose who he was spotted with in Cannes, Tyga insists that he’s single, adding, “I’m enjoying life.”

All the same, just because they have broken up doesn't mean there may not be a reconciliation in the offing for the pair.

Tyga says:

“Maybe later on in life, maybe we might come back. She's young. When you're young, you're going to make mistakes. All of those mistakes are going to be in the public eye so that puts a lot of strain on the relationship. Right now, I want to focus on what I need to do. I just wanted to get back to just me. I think for her as well."

This might be the proof we need to back up the photo shared by a fan last weekend, showing what looked like Tyga and Kylie riding together in his Lambourghini, stirring up speculations that there might be a reconciliation in the offing.

Considering the fact that the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty thrives on drama, there just might be a grand finale for this story.
