Star's younger brother checks into rehab

Conrad Hilton allegedly went nuts and threatened an British Airways flight crew last summer, claiming he was reacting to sleeping pills

Paris Hilton's younger brother, Conrad Hilton, has gone into rehab after allegedly going crazy on a British Airways flight last summer.

The 20-yr-old reportedly went nuts and threatened the entire plane crew during the July 2014 flight from London to Los Angeles.

Conrad told the authorities he had consumed sleeping pills before boarding the plane. His legal rep, Robert Shapiro also agreed the pills could have triggered the outburst.

On Tuesday, February 3, Conrad appeared in court after turning himself in to authorities investigating the incident.

Close sources to the Hiltons say the young man voluntarily checked himself into a 30-day inpatient drug and alcohol treatment program right after the bizarre incident.

Conrad was however released on $100,000 bail at Tuesday's hearing. He was ordered to surrender his passport and cannot leave California.
