Singer hints at quitting Twitter

The singer announced that she prefers interacting on Snapchat, as it offers her more privacy. She urged her fans to follow her on the preferred social media platform.

Demi Lovato

She stated this in a Twitter comment she posted on Monday, June 20, 2016. She however disclosed her preference for Snapchat, as it offers her more privacy.

Lovato wrote, “Damn I gotta quit sayin shit. Bye Twitter”.

“I like snapchat cause I don't have to see what some of y'all say. Follow me if you want: theddlovato”.

The singer’s announcement came days after having a spat with fellow singer, Mariah Carey. She described the latter’s behaviour towards Jennifer Lopez as “nasty”.

The reason for the singer’s decision to quit Twitter remains unclear, but there are suggestions that it might have been related to fans reaction to her mental health charity.
