Basketmouth is 37 years old

Today (September 14) is the birthday of one of the biggest comedians in Nigeria, Basketmouth.

Basketmouth had his primary and secondary school education in Apapa, in Lagos State. He obtained a degree in Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Benin.

Thanks to him selling Nigeria's brand of humour overseas, the Mayor of Houston announced that July 17 is now known as 'Basketmouth Day'.
