The police stated in a report that they were inspecting a garage in the village of Tannenbergsthal, 13 kilometres from the Czech border, when they noticed a “peculiar smell” coming from a nearby warehouse.
The report noted that a closer inspection showed that the heated building was home to over 50 cannabis plants.
It added that the plot of land belonged to a 39-year-old man, who is now being investigated by police for manufacturing illegal drugs.
