US Secretary of State arrives Nigeria, meets Jonathan, Buhari, others [PHOTOS]

The Secretary of State made the visit in order to urge the candidates to prevent their supporters from resorting to violence in the upcoming polls.

US Secretary of State, John Kerry arrived in Lagos, Nigeria today, January 25, for a visit with President Goodluck Jonathan regarding the upcoming 2015 elections.

Kerry also met with the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari.

The Secretary of State made the visit in order to urge the candidates to prevent their supporters from resorting to violence in the polls.

Also present at the meeting with Buhari were APC chieftains, Rotimi Amaechi, Bola Tinubu and party Chairman, John Oyegun.
