Lagos Speaker extols APC national leader at 65

Obasa also praised Tinubu for his determination, commitment and will to always succeed in spite of all odds.

Obasa extolled Tinubu, a former Lagos State governor, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Musbau Razak.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Tinubu clocks 65 years on March 29.

He praised Tinubu for his determination, commitment and will to always succeed in spite of all odds.

The speaker, who described Tinubu as the architect of modern Lagos, said his ingenuity had turned the state around.

“The state once regarded as the dirtiest in the country has become, not only the cleanest, but has assumed a Mega City status.

“Tinubu is also a great leader of men and women, whose ability to discover talents and potential, has led to the discovery of great leaders.

“These leaders have turned out to become reference point in leadership and good governance in the present democratic dispensation in the country,’’ he said.

According to him, Tinubu will continue to remain relevant and a reference point in the country’s political landscape.

Obasa said that Tinubu’s main concern had centered on the development of the country.

“His love for the common man knows no bound and his passion for the development and growth of this great country makes him arguably Nigeria’s greatest politician of the present political dispensation,” the speaker said.

NAN reports that the ninth annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium was held on Tuesday in Lagos to mark his birthday.
