Senate President, Bukola Saraki is expected to appear before a tribunal on Friday, September 18, 2015, on charges of corruption levelled against him by the Code of Conduct Bureau.
Senate President to appear before tribunal over corruption allegations
The CCB has filed a 13- count charge against Saraki and is accusing him of false declaration of assets among other offences.

According to the bureau, the Senate President made an anticipatory declaration of assets and failed to account for some other assets he acquired while in office as governor.
Saraki has however denied the allegations and told the CCB to meet him in court.
