A farmer in Adamawa state has been arrested by security operatives with 85 permanent Voters’ Cards (PVC) belonging to people from Futodo region of Michika Local Government Area.

The suspect identified as Bobbi Koteri was paraded before newsmen in Yola.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the 23rd Armoured Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Yola, Nuhu Jafaru, the suspect, who claimed to be just an errand boy was arrested along Song Gombi road during a stop-and-search exercise.
In his defence, Koteri reportedly said the sole administrator of Garage area development, Jimmy Zira, gave him the PVCs to distribute to the people who are living on the mountain in Futodo unit, because they could not go down to the city to collect their PVC.
While the suspect has since been handed over to the Police; the police PRO, Lehman Abubakar, said investigation is ongoing.
