The Federal High Court in Abuja has remanded the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kanu, in prison.

The order was given by Justice James Tsoho today, January 20, 2016.

Kanu appeared before the court today to face charges of treason along with two others, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi.

Nwawuisi had earlier confessed to receiving an initial sum of N150,000 to install a Radio Biafra transmitter on an MTN mast in Enugu State.
