Agency's PR boss, Tumaka makes list of top 100 PR experts

The firm congratulated Tumaka for making the top 100 Public Relations experts in April 2016.

A statement by the public relations firm made available to newsmen in Lagos, said that EvanCarmichael.com, is a website founded by EvanCarmichael, a Toronto-based entrepreneur, and an international speaker.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the public relations firm noted that the site (EvanCarmichael.com) was developed out of passion for helping entrepreneurs to succeed.

Tumaka’s working career which spanned over two decades, started at the Army Day Secondary School, Jaji, as a teacher.

She was a News Editor, Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Minna; Public Relations Manager, Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN) Ltd. Kaduna; before joining the then National Maritime Authority (NMA) as a Chief Research Officer in 1998.

Tumaka is a recipient of the Maritime Media Woman of the Year on several occasions, among several awards.

She recently won a poll as the Best Maritime Industry Public Relations Officer.

Tumaka is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (FNIPR) and a member of Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Nigeria.
