City is 29th most expensive for expats

The American human resources consulting firm ranked 209 cities according to their cost of living for foreign workers "based on a blended international spending pattern".

The rankings is compiled "using factual and objective price information".

This was achieved by comparing prices between the expatriate's home country and the host city, while demonstrating "how currency fluctuation and shifts in the prices of goods and services can affect the purchasing power of expatriate employees."

Luanda, Angola is ranked highest at number 1, followed by HongKong, HongKong, and Tokyo, Japan. UnitedState's New York City is ranked at number nine.

Tunis, Tunisia is ranked 209.
