“The state government, through the Agency, plans to provide standard and functional hospitals across the 147 political wards across the state.

“We are also planning to investigate and find lasting solution to the problem of inadequate health personnel in our hospitals, particularly in the rural areas.

“We’re also planning to provide modern health equipment and facilities in the hospitals to ensure effective healthcare delivery at the primary level,” the Zamfara PHCDA scribe said.

Mafara added that the international organisations had indicated their readiness to partner and support the state government in providing effective health care delivery to the people.

He disclosed that the PRRINN and MNCH had recently donated over N10 million worth of drugs to the Agency.
