The 7 Division of the Nigerian Army in Maiduguri has uncovered a business centre in the Borno State capital which specialized in the production of fake National Identity Cards and other documents for Boko Haram terrorists.

The business centre was allegedly being operated by two suspects, John Zakariya and Makinta Umar, who have now been arrested.

According to the Deputy Director, Army Public Relations, Tukur Gusau, the items found at the facility include:
- Laptops
- Memory sticks
- Still camera

Gusau also said that the business centre was discovered after an arrested suspect confessed to its existence.
