World Bank to spend $50million on water projects

The World Bank is set to spend $50million on water projects in Ekiti State, the state government has said.

This was disclosed by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ayo Fayose, Idowu Adelusi via a statement released on Thursday, November 5, 2015.

According to the statement, the commitment was made by the World Bank Task Team Leader on the Water Project, Pier Mantovani during a visit to Fayose’s office.

In response, the governor described the project as a welcome development, and called on the World Bank team to carry the state government along while executing the project.
