Governor Oshiomhole's new wife begins First Lady duties

Iara, alongside the Governor, presented trophies and medals to winners at the third edition of the 10 kilometer Okpekpe Road Race.

 

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole’s new wife, Iara has resumed her duties as the First Lady of the state barely 24 hours after their glamorous wedding.

Iara was a model and the former Miss Cape Verde.

She tied the knot with former labour leader and the Edo Governor Adams Oshiomhole on Friday, May 15 at a private marriage registry in the state, with heavyweight politicians of the All Progressive Congress, led by the President-elect Muhammadu Buhari in attendance.
