The Lagos State Government has removed details of contracts awarded under the administration of former Governor, Babatunde Fashola from the internet.
The list had been published on the website of the state’s Public Procurement Agency (PPA).
Fashola was placed in the eye of the storm after the details showed that he had spent N78.3m on his personal website in 2014.
The list also stated that Fashola spent N139m on the drilling of two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
The website of the PPA was inaugurated by Fashola on July 15, 2013 in a bid to enhance transparency, efficiency, accountability.
Meanwhile Nigerians have accused current Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode of releasing details of the contracts in a bid to damage Fashola’s reputation.
