Ex-gov advises Oshiomhole to complete ongoing projects

He said if a new project is not very necessary and critical to the well-being of the people, the Governor should avoid the temptation of starting it.

Ex-Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babatunde Fashola, has advised Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole to complete ongoing projects before the end of his tenure in November 2016, instead of initiating new development projects.

Fashola gave the advice while Speaking at a 3-day retreat for members of Edo State Executive Council and Permanent Secretaries holding at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja to brainstorm and re-strategise on raising the bar on governance in the state, with the theme, “Finishing Well”.

Fashola acknowledged that it is near impossible for any administration to initiate and complete all projects needed by the people in the state.

He added that Oshiomhole should expect to be criticized after leaving office even though he is the best Edo has ever got.
