Court sends ex-minister to prison
The decision was reached today, June 28, 2016, by presiding judge, Justice Sule Hassan following Fani-Kayode’s arraignment on money laundering charges.

The decision was reached today, June 28, 2016, by presiding judge, Justice Sule Hassan following Fani-Kayode’s arraignmenton money laundering charges, according to Daily Trust.
Fani-Kayode was charged along with former finance ministers, Nenadi Usman and one Danjuma Yusuf for allegedly laundering N4.9 billion.
The accused persons will be imprisoned until their bail applications are heard on Friday, July 1.
