Kaduna state governor thanks God over Buhari's return

The governor expressed gratitude to God as he posted a statement by Femi Adesina on the President's return on his Facebook and Twitter handles.

In a tweet, El-Rufai simply wrote 'BREAKING NEWS: PRESIDENT BUHARI RETURNS TODAY - Alhamdulillah' on Saturday, August 19, 2017.

The governor expressed gratitude to God as he reposted a statement by Femi Adesina on the President's return on his Facebook and Twitter handles.

Adesina had announced to Nigerians via a statement in the early hours of Saturday, August 19, 2017 that President Buhari is scheduled to return home after a total of 103 days in London, where he had gone for a medical vacation.

The President had left the country on May 7, 2017 this year, after handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who has functioned as Acting President since then.
