‘I can’t be cowed,’ Senator reacts to claims he didn’t graduate from ABU

According to Sahara Reporters, lecturers at ABU’s Department of Geography insist that Melaye did not graduate from the school.

The publication also alleged that the Senator bribed his Head of Department while at the university.

However, in response, Melaye said that he cannot be cowed by the allegations.

“Sahara Reporters please sue me and ABU if it is true that I did not graduate from Zaria. Tell Magu to arrest me and prosecute me,” he said via Twitter.

“SR you and your fake documents. I'm presently a student of ABU pursuing my 7th degree. Go round all the UNIS I attended in digging more.

“I can't be cowed. Still waiting for Sahara to indict me. What happened to the foreign account you reported I have. Na una go tire,” he added.

Sahara Reporters also claims that the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Lawal Daura is aware of the situation but chose to cover it up.
