President to visit Ebonyi and Anambra this week

On his visits, the president will be received by the Ebonyi state governor, David Umahi as well as Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state.

Buhari's visit was made known in a tweet by the state house under the handle, Presidency Nigeria on Sunday, November 12, 2017.

"This week President MBuhari will pay a two-day visit to Ebonyi and Anambra States.PMBinSE," the tweet reads.

On his visits, the president will be received by the Ebonyi state governor, David Umahi as well as Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra state.

State of Anambra

Anambra is the seat of operation for the proscribed Biafran group, Indigenous People Of Biafra which is led by wanted separatist, Nnamdi Kanu.

On Friday, November 10, 2017, members of the IPOB had marched to streets of Onitsha where they had issued a warning to residents and people of the state to stay indoors and not participate in the coming governorship elections or face death.
