According to a report by Punch, Buhari met with top government officials led by the VP, Yemi Osinbajo hours after he arrived Nigeria.

It was further reported that the meeting which held inside the First Lady Conference kicked off at about 9am on Friday, March 10, 2017.

It was also reported that the President and the government officials were driven to the venue of the meeting straight from the helipad.

It was widely reported that the President might be addressing the nation much after the meeting.

Buhari left the country on January 19 on a 10-day vacation which he said he would also use to have a medical check-up.

The leave was later extended based on medical advice from his doctors who said they wanted to carry out further tests.
