President departs Daura for Abuja

The president is on his way back to Abuja after holidaying in Daura for the Sallah cerebrations.

A News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent reports that the presidential helicopter with registration no.NAF-540 left the Daura helipad for Abuja at 10.24 a.m.

The president was in company of immediate members of his family, Media Aide Garba Shehu and the Chief Security Officer, Bashir Bindawa and members of the protocol unit of the villa.

The highly-elated Buhari commended the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Farouk, for the wonderful reception accorded to his Niger counterpart, President Muhammadou Yusouffou, who visited the Daura palace on Tuesdayafter visiting President Buhari.

Buhari was accompanied to the departure point by the emir, politicians, well wishers and security personnel deployed to cover the visit.
