Senator Dino Melaye has denied reports that the Senate has received President Muhammadu Buhari’s ministerial list.

“We are still waiting for the ministerial list from the President. I want to advise that there is no need for agitation because September expires by midnight and the office of the Senate President is open," Melaye said.

Earlier reports had it that Buhari’s ministerial list had been presented to the Senate by the president’s Special Adviser on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang.

The president had promised to unveil his ministers before the end of September, a promise which was reaffirmed by his media aide, Femi Adesina who said that the list would be ready on Wednesday (today).
