Nigerian Army Chief dies in ghastly auto accident

Brigadier General Muhammed Aliyu and two other soldiers were also involved in the crash, and are said to be in critical condition.

 

Details are still sketchy, but according to The Sun, the deceased, Major General Y.M Abubakar, was the Chief of Training and Operations of the Nigerian Army.

Report said the General Officer Commanding 3 Armoured Division  of the Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Muhammed Aliyu and two other soldiers were also involved in the crash, and are said to be in critical condition.

This is coming barely three days after the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, James Ocholi (SAN), died in a ghastly accident along Kaduna-Abuja road. The accident which also claimed the lives of his wife and son.
