Explosion hits Adamawa police station

The explosion is said to have occurred at about 11:44 am today, February 25, 2016 at the Jimeta Divisional Police Headquarters in Yola, the state capital.

 

The explosion is said to have occurred at about 11:44 am today, February 25, 2016 at the Jimeta Divisional Police Headquarters in Yola, the state capital, Premium Times reports.

A resident of the area, identified as Ibrahim Bello, said that the blast was so powerful “that all the glass windows and doors in our entire neighborhood have been destroyed.”

The incident hasn’t been confirmed by the necessary authorities and it is not yet clear if there are any casualties.
