Boko Haram terrorists have killed 21 people near Chibok in Borno State, a military source has said.

The terrorists attacked villagers in Gatamarwa, Makalama and Layhawul while fleeing airstrikes conducted by the Nigerian army.

The Boko Haram members reportedly opened fire on villagers as they made their escape.
“They surrounded the market and started shooting. There was pandemonium everywhere and more than 10 people were killed,” Chibok resident and farmer Maina Chibok told Reuters.
Over 200 schoolgirls were kidnapped from Chibok in April 2014 and most of them remain in captivity.
