Terrorists burn 60 houses in Adamawa villages

The affected villages are Sabon Gari, Kafin Hausa and Dutse Biyu in the Madagali Local Government Area of the state.

Boko Haram terrorists have burned down about 60 houses in three Adamawa State villages, reports say.

The affected villages are Sabon Gari, Kafin Hausa and Dutse Biyu in the Madagali Local Government Area of the state, according to Punch.

This was disclosed on Sunday, September 27, 2015, by a local hunter who said that the terrorists, who were fleeing from soldiers, also took away foodstuffs and other valuables from the villages.

“They left everything at the mercy of the insurgents who went on rampage, burning down many houses in these villages without any challenge from any quarter,” another source, Ibrahim Abu, told Punch.

The incident was confirmed by the Acting Brigade Commander of the 23rd Armored Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Yola, Colonel A.B.A. Popoola who said that no life was lost in the attack.

Boko Haram terrorists, also on Sunday, killed 9 residents of the Konduga Local Government Area in Borno State in an attack which also left 10 persons injured.
