The NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Group Capt. Ayodele Famuyiwa, on Tuesday, November 15, disclosed this in a statement.
Famuyiwa stated that the latest attack was a follow-up to the close air support operation that repelled the insurgents who attacked ground forces at Kangarwa.
He said: "Survivors among the insurgents have fled to Dogochuku, where they were also attacked by NAF fighter aircraft and forced to relocate to Malkonori.
"Ground forces confirmed that a number of the insurgents were killed and their vehicle destroyed, from the latest air strike at Malkonori."
NAF fighter aircraft had on November 7 repelled an attack by the insurgents on ground troops at Kangarawa, Northern Borno.
