Army kills female suicide bomber in Borno

The suicide bomber had refuse to stop for thorough search when asked by the military personnel and was gunned down when she tried making her way into the barracks forcefully.

 

The Nigerian army has foiled an attempt by a suspected female Boko Haram suicide bomber to wreck havoc on Maimalari army barracks in Maiduguri, Borno State.

According to multiple reports, the female suicide bomber was shot dead on Sunday, October 18, 2015 by Nigerian soldiers after she attempted to forcefully make her way into the army barracks carrying a handbag that concealed explosives.

It was further reported that the explosives in the suicide bomber's handbag detonated immediately killing her only after she was shot by one of the military personnels.
