The Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, CDS, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, has boasted that the Nigerian military will never allow terrorists occupy any territory in Nigeria again.

As the Nigerian military continues to intensify effort to recapture territories occupied by dangerous sect Boko Haram, Nigerians are in-turn, more than ever, singing the praise of the military men and women who are putting their lives on the online to ensure Nigeria, especially the North East is safe again.

In his remark while addressing a civil society group, Nigeria in Safe Hands Group, at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja, on Thursday, Badeh – who was represented by the Chief of Policy and Plans AVM Umar Omeiza, said ‘never again’ will the Nigerian army allow Boko Haram to occupy any part of the country again.

“The troops are saying: never again; never again; never again. We are not going to allow terrorists to occupy any part of the country. Boko Haram is a common enemy for all of us,” Badeh said.

The group had staged a solidarity rally to the Defence Headquarters to further appreciate and boost the morale of the force in their fight against insurgents.

It would be recalled that many civil society groups have in the past weeks staged similar solidarity rally to the defence headquarters, while tons of Nigerians continue to shower encomium on the Nigerian soldiers for their bravery and selfless efforts to recapture Nigerian towns and cities under siege.
