Femi Fani Kayode peddles falsehood - says minister

Alhassan in two tweets said its demeaning on Fani Kayode, who is an ex-minister, to peddle lies about her.

Following Fani-Kayode's allegation that Alhassan has opened up on the role Governor Nasir el-Rufai played in the “Chibok scam,” Mama Taraba took to Twitter to address the ex-minister's attempted assault on her personality.

Alhassan in two tweets said its demeaning on Fani Kayode's person to peddle lies about her.

She said, “As a former minister of the Federal Republic, it is demeaning on your person to deliberately engage in peddling falsehood. I never said such.

“You peddled falsehood. And that’s exactly what it is: lies and propaganda. Thank God the APC is cleaning up your mess.”

Fani-Kayode’s tweets, which have since been deleted, were quickly referenced by some Peoples Democratic Party supporters like Governor Ayodele Fayose’s aide, Lere Olayinka; and Deji Adeyanju.

The minister maintained that she did not speak to any news medium lately apart from the BBC neither did she release any media statement.
