The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN) has called for collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Information to promote unity and campaign against corruption in the country.

The President of the association, Mr Kelechi Nwosu, made this known, when he met with the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Information, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan on Tuesday in Abuja.

"We have had a really divided country. Unity and being unified is an issue that worries a lot of us.

"And we say that with proper engagement and communication, we can begin to heal some of the divisions in the country and we know that that sort of initiative is something that will help this country.

"And we think that we can put that on the table. So there is a unity campaign we have done.

And the second part is corruption.

"Everybody acknowledges especially in this current dispensation that corruption can be very disheartening and tough on our development.

"But even now we think that there is opportunity to break it down. What does it corruption mean?

"We can talk so much about it and break it down to people and let people to understand how it affects them right to the micro level.
