5 things to do while you are stuck in traffic

Traffic in Nigeria is a given, therefore, the only thing to do is to sit back and do the following things.

Lagos traffic

In Nigeria, traffic is inevitable.

So, calm down, relax and do the following whenever you are stuck.

Listen to music- There is no doubt that being stuck in traffic is a very frustrating situation. However, there is no point stewing and feeling worse. So, simply calm down and listen to some music. This will definitely take your mind away from the traffic situation.

Get on social media- Traffic jams are the perfect place to see pictures, videos on instagram, let out steam by tweeting about the situation and so on. Basically, getting on social media helps you survive the annoying traffic situation.

Play games- Whenever you are stuck in traffic jams, just whip out your phone, tablet and play some games. Note: If you are in a 'molue', please, take note of the people on the bus before doing this.

Strike a conversation with the people around you- Guys and ladies, traffic jams give the perfect time to strike a conversation with that pretty/handsome person you have been eyeing. So, rather than waste your time complaining about the traffic, simply take it as a gift and use it wisely.

Read a book- I know this is a shocker, especially for this generation, but a traffic jam gives you the opportunity to read a book. Thanks to kindles, and tablets, you do not necessarily need to have a book in your hands. Simply, download a book  and read it.

There is no doubt that traffic jams, gridlocks, go-slows, are all very annoying, but you can prevent it from getting you by doing the above.

Note- Most of these apply to passengers, not drivers.
