Govt. partners with Irish business group

Scores of investors have trooped in to express an interest that involves doing business in the state

Enugu State Governor

The Enugu State Government announced that it has entered into discussions with an  Irish group of investors concerning investment opportunities in the state.

A statement released by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Uwakwe Abugu quoted that the prospective investor indicated interest at an investment summit in Dublin, Ireland addressed by the governor.

The recent development in the state has attracted a lot of investors.

According to the statement, “Prospective investors have already held talks with the state governor and officials of the state government”.

Abudu also confirmed that, “This move is to develop the education sector in the state in a manner that will offer value to stakeholders”.

This collaboration is expected to attract more foreign investment into the state.
