1. Use your eyes: Children have to be taught to ALWAYS look left, right and left again before crossing.

2. Always use pedestrian bridges and zebra crossing lines.

3. Look out for traffic lights.

Note: Road safety tips are not just for adults or the ones driving the cars. Kids need them too for when they are playing on the streets or walking home alone. Thus, it is every parents' or guardians' job to teach them basic road safety tips.
