Hilarious gag gifts always make for a winning birthday present. Whether it's a gift based off of an inside joke between you and your friends (think remember that time when), or it's just a ridiculously stupid present from a Spencer-Gifts-type store that fits your dirty sense of humor, theyre usually affordable and meant to make the birthday boy burst out into the biggest laugh.

Here's a Ridiculous Fashion T-Shirt for $570

You know, the best kind of laugh that makes you spit out your drink mid-gulp and hold your stomach from laughing so hard you begin to tear up. Now, what if its a gag T-shirt from a luxury streetwear label that retails for $570 that says It's My Birthday And All I got Was This Overpriced T-Shirt From Vetements"-are you still laughing?

Vetements -a French brand with a satirical approach to fashion, often providing commentary on social issues-is known for their insanely-priced streetwear and has become so successful thanks in part to their legion of 3.4 million Instagram followers. Designer Demna Gvasalia recently leveraged the success to assume the role of creative director at Balenciaga. Celebrities like Justin Bieber, Tyga, and Kanye West have all worn these over-priced garements, including an $800 hoodie . With over 35,000 likes on a photo of the T-shirt posted on the brands Instagram account, it looks like some of their cult-like followers might be willing to shell out the cash (or possibly take out a new credit card) for it.

Comments on the post range from hardcore Vetements fans lusting for the T-shirt saying "Its not my birthday but this shirt is $600 and I want it," to seriously confused followers saying "Bruh I had to check twice to make sure it wasnt a meme page."

Even if the person who buys this T-shirt thinks theyre in on some joke, isnt the joke on them when their card gets declined the next day at Starbucks for a $5 macchiato? And if you have the funds to afford a frivolous purchase, wouldnt you rather buy the Vetements bottle opener necklace shown in their recent runway show? You'll never have to worry about opening a beer again!

We appreciate that the luxury label doesnt take fashion too seriously, but when it comes to wildly expensive birthday gifts, Id suggest bringing back the good ol I want a pony childhood birthday wish. It might not make you laugh, but hey, you might still enjoy the pony for more than one season.
