The Yoruba people are an ethinic group found in the southeastern part of Nigeria, also one of the major ethnic groups in the country.

The Yorubas were popular for the use of facial marks in the past to identify each group within the Yoruba nation,  to beautify, and also identify slaves.

Tribal or facial marks are marks commonly found on the face, which come in different shapes and sizes.

There are various tribal marks, by different ethnic groups within Yoruba nation, and this video by Afrospiral TV explains them.
