Why you should have a daily skincare routine

Worried your skin doesn't glow? Doesn't look as smooth and soft like you would love? Then it's time to take your skincare routine seriously.

(And no, bleaching or toning isn't the only way to get the skin looking good or glowing, taking great care of it is just enough but you must find a routine that works for your skin).

First you must identify your skintype and products that work best for you before picking out the ones to use.

A generic routine could be as basic as in the morning; start off wiping excess oil off the face, followed by cleansing with a facial wash for oily skin (this is normally done in the shower) and then cleansing again with a gentle deep cleanser.

A toner follows after this and a short while later, follow with a non-comedogenic lotion (or any other that works for your skin). Don't be alarmed though as the whole morning routine won't take you more than 5 minutes!

Whatever you do, start the day by cleansing (though washing/ properly cleansing the face is a sure way to keep acne and any form of blemishes at bay, this however doesn't necessarily indicate deeply cleansing it!)so a deep cleanse usually with deep cleansing astringents are best.

At night, wipe makeup using makeup remover then cleanse to get rid of makeup that wipes can't get off, then wash, tone and moisturize in this case with a rejuvenating serum that works on the skin while you sleep! This also takes a few minutes.

When you have a skincare routine, you nourish the skin daily; get rid of dust, grease or grime that may have settled on it during the day as well as makeup otherwise the pores get clogged leaving room for breakouts.

When you also follow a skincare routine, the skin is kept youthful, glowing leaving no room for dullness, aging appearances and more.

If that's not a great way to keep skin looking a 100% then what is? Get on a skincare routine for a healthy glow.
