<div>Very few people understand the challenges that come with the Autism disorder. On May 27th 2012, a short movie on autism would be premièring in Lagos. The movie, ‘Silver Lining’ is a short film about Ama, a doting mother of an only child, Junior who is severely autistic causing Ama and Femi her husband to run from pillar to post, taking him from school to school, seeking help in all sorts of places. This touching and emotionally charged short film explores the difficulties involved with living with the disease. Starring Monalisa Chinda, Whoba Ogo and introducing new act, Obiora Olife.</div>

<div>The film was produced by award winning producer Emem Isong and co- produced by Uduak Oguamanam.</div>
<div>According to Dotun Akande, Founder/Proprietress of the Patrick Speech and Languages Centre in Lagos; 'We decided to put this message on film because film is a very powerful medium. This is a tool we intend to use to touch people and let them know that Autism is not a death sentence however early intervention is key.</div>
