According to documents which were obtained by E! Jhene Aiko and Dot Da Genius got married on July 26, 2014 and were separated on June 2015.
When news of this got out the soul singer quickly became a topic of discussion on Twitter and was dragged for allegedly seeing rapper Big Sean while she was married.

Yesterday August 12, 2106 Jhene Aiko shared a photo of her wearing a top with Big Sean's face on it. For months, Jhene Aiko has been romantically tied with rapper Big Sean. The pair were pictured sharing a passionate kiss on stage following a July 4 performance marking America's Independence day.
In June 2016 they give what is described as a steamy performance on the Late Late Show With James Corden. They still denied that they are dating.
