It was gathered that the suspect who is also known as Million in the underworld, had led the attacks on banks at various locations including Lekki, Ikorodu, Agbara, Festac Town, where millions of Naira were carted away by his gang, killing many people, including police officers and innocent civilians, particularly a pregnant woman who was shot dead at the Agbara attack while an innocent fish seller was killed at the Lekki robbery.

Another innocent victim of the deadly gang was a nursing mother who was shot alongside her little baby.

The IRT, led by CSP Abba Kyari, it was learnt, had in November 2015, launched a manhunt for the bank robbers when one suspect Kelly Fotor, was arrested at a wedding in Sapele, Delta State, and he allegedly confessed to the police that Million was the gang leader who disguised as a woman during operations.
