A young woman has been made a widow few years after marriage due to a fatal accident that took her husband and young daughter.

The ghastly motor accident that occurred on Sunday, May 22, along Umuahia-Okigwe road, involving a Peace Mass Transit Limited owned commercial bus and a utility truck used for conveying goods, where 13 passengers lost their lives on the spot, has left a young woman, Dorine Darlington Obi, inconsolable as she lost her husband, Darlington, and her young daughter, Jasmine, in the fatal crash.

The ill-fated bus, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), was heading to Abia State from Enugu State and was almost at its destination when a reckless trailer driver, who was on top speed, lost control and rammed into the bus, killing 13 passengers on the spot with three sustaining various degrees of injuries.

The young widow, who has been in tears since the sad occurrence, took to her Facebook page to post the sad news which has had her friends continue to pour out their condolences to her and the family.
