Police to close roads ahead of Millenium Marathon

Motorists are therefore implored to note these arrangements and plan alternative routes before embarking on their journeys

Police have served notice that it will temporarily close certain roads ahead of the maiden millenium marathon to be held on Saturday, September 5. This is to ensure the smooth management of both human and vehicular traffic, before, during and after the event.

Motorists are therefore implored to note these arrangements and plan alternative routes before embarking on their journeys. Further to this, the police said no vehicle will be allowed to park or drive through these routes.

The following roads will be closed to motorists from 5.00 am to 12.00pm tomorrow:

Meanwhile, the following areas have also been earmarked as car parks for the event:

The Police has therefore entreated members of the general public, especially motorists to observe these arrangement and co-operate with the police for a successful event.
